Go Digital is the first Interactive Magazine that looks to deliver the promise of CD-ROM, while keeping you entertained and up-to-date on the latest movements in the new media revolution. The interfaces are pretty understandable, but if you get confused, click the Question Mark (?) on the toolbar at the bottom of each screen to find out what to do. You'll get a screen that describes the functions of the icons and buttons in Go Digital. Click anywhere to get back to where you were.

INSTALLING QUICKTIME
If you don╒t have QuickTime 2.1 already installed on your system, you╒ll find a copy in the "QuickTime for System Folder" folder on the disc. Drag and drop the "QuickTime" over your current System folder. The computer will ask if you want to copy QuickTime into the Extensions folder. Click on "Yes" and restart the computer after the computer finishes copying QuickTime.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
To use this CD-ROM you need a CD-ROM player (we recommend one that is double-speed or faster) and System 7.0 or greater. If you don't have System 7.0, you cannot use QuickTime. To obtain System 7, contact your local Apple dealer or user group.
Minimum requirement is a Macintosh computer with a 68020 CPU (we recommend at least a 68030; a 68040 is the best), 4 megabytes of free RAM and an 8-bit color graphics card (we recommend a 24-bit color graphics card and at least 8 meg machines for optimal results). On 4 meg machines, we recommend turning off all extensions (using Extension Manager or Startup Manager in your Control Panels) EXCEPT FOR Apple CD-ROM, Quicktime, and Quicktime Power Plug, and make sure Virtual Memory is turned OFF (this is found in your Memory control panel). Then restart your machine. When you're done using Go Digital and want to return your computer to regular functionality, turn on the rest of your extensions and Restart. This should help a lot. RAM Doubler can also cause similar problems.
If you have problems reading any of your CD-ROMs check the CD-ROM for any
scratches or finger prints. Use a soft cloth to wipe from the center to the
edge. CD-ROMs are more vulnerable to damage than audio CDs, so always place
them in the jewel box or CD caddies whenever possible.
